This comprehensive course provides a deep dive into the diagnosis and management of aortic disease, designed to enhance the knowledge and skills of healthcare professionals across multiple disciplines. Participants will gain a thorough understanding of both acute and chronic aortic conditions, including aneurysm and dissection. It will empower participants to improve patient outcomes by fostering a collaborative and informed approach to managing aortic disease.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners should be able to:

  1. Identify risk factors for aortic disease, including those in specific populations.
  2. Describe the current medical management strategies for aortic disease.
  3. Differentiate between various inherited aortopathy syndromes based on their clinical features.
  4. Outline appropriate screening strategies for aortic aneurysms in highrisk patient populations.
  5. Recognize the signs and symptoms of acute aortic syndromes and compare the indications for medical, endovascular, and surgical management.
  6. Discuss existing socioeconomic disparities in aortic disease care and identify opportunities to improve these disparities.
