1. Describe current best practices in pretransplant evaluation encompass novel diagnostic modalities and risk stratification strategies;
2. Explain advancements in surgical techniques for various organ transplants include minimally invasive approaches;
3. Identify promising areas of research in organ transplantation and discuss their potential impact on clinical practice;
4. Describe the roles and responsibilities of the transplant team including surgeons, physicians, nurses, pharmacists social workers, and dietitians and develop strategies for effective communication and collaboration within this multidisciplinary team.
