This comprehensive course provides a deep dive into the diagnosis and management of aortic disease, designed to enhance the knowledge and skills of healthcare professionals across multiple disciplines. Participants will gain a thorough understanding of both acute and chronic aortic conditions, including aneurysm and dissection. It will empower participants to improve patient outcomes by fostering a collaborative and informed approach to managing aortic disease.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners should be able to:

  1. Identify risk factors for aortic disease, including those in specific populations;
  2. Describe the current medical management strategies for aortic disease;
  3. Differentiate between various inherited aortopathy syndromes based on their clinical features;
  4. Outline appropriate screening strategies for aortic aneurysms in highrisk patient populations;
  5. Recognize the signs and symptoms of acute aortic syndromes and compare the indications for medical, endovascular, and surgical management;
  6. Discuss existing socioeconomic disparities in aortic disease care and identify opportunities to improve these disparities.
