Overview
Patient Cases will be presented in a prospective, multidisciplinary conference to learn about staging and treatment plans consistent with the American College of Surgeons, the National Comprehensive Cancer Network recommendations and the latest scientific literature. Selection of cases for presentation is based upon findings from quality assurance activities, recent developments in literature and recommendations from the target audience as expressed on evaluation forms.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners should be able to:

  1. Identify AJCC stage of disease;
  2. Correlate with NCCN (National Comprehensive CANCER Network) practice guidelines;
  3. Comment upon the implications for development of Hackensack Meridian Health practice guidelines;
  4. Recommend treatment and clinical trials per stage;
  5. Facilitate and develop an active treatment plan for prospective patients;
  6. Interact with interdisciplinary team to reach prospective consensus on patient care.

Hackensack Meridian Health Network is accredited by the Medical Society of New Jersey to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
