Established in 2019, the Joint Cardiac Cath Conference has rapidly distinguished itself as a premier, indispensable weekly forum dedicated to the advancement of cardiovascular medicine. Prior speakers have included the primary authors of high-impact, practice-changing clinical trials published in elite journals such as the New England Journal of Medicine (NEJM), JAMA, the Journal of the American College of Cardiology (JACC), and the Journal of the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography & Interventions (JSCAI). 1. Lectures: Demonstrate knowledge of current Interventional Cardiology advances, new techniques and devices, evidence based practices and a review of clinical literature.
2. M&M: Describe and review all aspects of each complication and the circumstances which lead to the occurrence;
3. M&M: Review protocols discussed and incorporate changes in clinical practice.
4. M&M: Suggest how changes in care can lead to reduction of future risks and improve outcomes.

NJ Board of Nursing (NJAC 13:37-5.3) states: “A registered professional nurse or licensed practical nurse may obtain continuing education hours from the following: (d)3. Successful completion of continuing medical education courses recognized by the American Medical Association, the American Osteopathic Association or the American Podiatric Medical Association: one hour for each 60 minutes of attendance” therefore, CME credits obtained today may be used in place of nursing contact hours.
