Our commitment to your privacy extends to your use of our Continuing Medical Education (CME) platform. This section outlines our practices concerning the personal data we collect and process when you engage with our educational offerings, ensuring compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA). When you use our CME platform, we collect information necessary to provide you with our services, including your name, contact details, professional credentials (such as your NPI number), and payment information. To deliver a personalized learning experience, we also gather data on your platform engagement, such as course progress, viewing history, and your interactions with educational content and advertisements. This information is used to create a user profile to tailor the content and advertisements you see. The primary purpose of this data collection is to manage your account, process your payments, and, crucially, to award and report your CME credits to the relevant accrediting bodies.

How to Check In for Grand Rounds, Case Conference, and/or Live activities:

1.  Via mobile app – in your browser search CloudCME® check in or CloudCME® mobile app and download to your Apple or Android device(s)  to access the Check-in menu and scan a QR code. This app also features mobile access to your transcripts, access to the calendar of events, and many other exciting features! 

2.  Via text message  – A distinct code will be provided for each Grand Rounds, Case Conference, and/or Live activities.

If this is the first time you are texting your attendance, you must first pair your mobile number to your account.  Text your email address to: (855) 748-7146 to opt-in to the text message attendance program. By texting this phone number, you agree to receive SMS notifications from Hackensack Meridian Health for attendance confirmations. Message frequency is dependent on user interaction. We will only send SMS messages in response to a message initiated by the user. Message and data rates may apply. After texting your email address, you will receive a text notification indicating your phone number has been updated.  Once your account is paired to your mobile number and you have obtained the event code, send the code via text to: (855) 748-7146 .

Please note, attendance can only be recorded 60 mins. prior to the activity start time, during the activity and up to 120 minutes after the activity closes.

We do not sell or share mobile or personal data with third parties, affiliates, or partners for marketing or promotional purposes. We only share data with third parties when it is strictly necessary to deliver our service and only under binding agreements that ensure confidentiality. Under no circumstances will mobile data be shared or sold for advertising or promotional use.
